A Yesman is the third Cog on the Bossbot corporate ladder. Their levels range from three to seven. They often appear in Toontown Central, Donald's Dock, Daisy Gardens, Minnie's Melodyland, The Brrrgh, Donald's Dreamland, and always appear in those locations during Yesman invasions. They were the first Cog to canonically appear in Toontown and the first to make a certain Toon go sad.

A Yes-Man is someone who agrees with anything with his or her supervisor, superior, etc., despite any attitude they express.

Trivia

  • A level 3 Yesman used "Positive Reinforcement" on Slappy, making him go sad after which he threatened Flippy with it. This started the war between the Toons and the Cogs.
  • The Yesman has the same exact face as a Glad Hander and a Mr. Hollywood. The original Toontown Online Team said that this was because cogs wanted to save parts, hence the three Cogs having different head sizes. The difference besides this was that Yesmen are Bossbots while Glad Handers and Mr. Hollywoods are Sellbots.
  • There is a removed attack called "Cigar Smoke" that was for the Yesman. The move animation is the Cog smoking a cigar and blowing the smoke into the Toon's face. There is an obvious reason why Disney removed this, so it can be less likely that this will be added in Toontown Rewritten.
  • In the Toontown Online download video, a Yesman is the first Cog to come out of the manufacturing machine.
  • It is the only Bossbot with a group attack, which is Synergy.
  • Ironically, if a Toon attempts to battle a Yesman while he is walking into a building, he may answer with the phrase, "Yesman says, 'NO.'"
  • This was the first Cog to appear in Toontown Rewritten. He was defeated by Flippy, after he made Slappy go sad.
  • In the phase files, modifying the texture for the Yesman's face, modifies the Mr Hollywood face.

By any chance did anyone notice the screenshot of the Lava room had the nametag of an NPC called "McQuack Senior" on it? Could that mean Scrooge McDuck? He was very important to (accidentally) making the first Cogs. But he was reported to not being seen since the elections...
Also, I figured out why the very first Cog was a Yesman? If you watch the old Toontown intro video, you'll see that the first Cog off the conveyor belt is a Yesman! IT ALL MAKES SENSE! LIKE A JIGSAW PUZZLE!
Although I would have preferred it if it was a Mr. Hollywood because that Yesman seemed very tall, plus it's stronger.
McQuack is the name of one of the developer's toons. That was just him being silly. Also, developer screenshots are non-canon. (Meaning they don't apply to the storyline.)
Also, you're right! We chose a Yesmen because it was the first cog created in the original intro video. As you said it could have been a Mr. Hollywood as well, but we didn't want the first cog to be too strong so that the invasion can get harder as it goes on, and also so that he wouldn't be scary enough that it would seem out of place for Slappy to greet him without fear.
