Policy
When running a wiki dedicated to a family-oriented massively multiplayer online game like Toontown Rewritten, there is no doubt that the Toontown Rewritten Wiki would have established a policy to keep the site running smoothly and orderly in order to maintain a positive environment.
Violating any portion of the policy, including the following set of rules listed below, will result in one or two warnings before a certain number of blocks are issued, depending on the severity of the first-case scenario. If a user continues to violate the policy despite previous warnings or blocks that they may have received, they are more than likely to receive an extension in their block until a permanent block is decided upon. Under any circumstances should an administrator or moderator find the need to block a user without having to issue a single warning, especially involved in a situation where it is urgent, they have the right to do so.
To get the full scoop on other portions of the policy, please refer to the "Policy" category.

General

Mouse running
This section details the common and general rules of the Toontown Rewritten Wiki. Read ahead for some important information!
  • Do not cause drama or upset the general peace of the wiki. In other words, do not attempt to troll.
  • Harassment of any kind towards an individual or the general public is not allowed. Treat others the way you want to be treated.
  • Do not vandalize. For more information on vandalism, see here.
  • Do not plagiarize. For more information on plagiarism, see here.
  • No images, text, signatures, statements, or usernames that imply you work for Disney or any other company or organization.

  • Do not use the wiki at an attempt of gaining someone's personal information.
  • Do not impersonate an individual on the wiki, such as a staff member from the Toontown Rewritten Team.
  • Do not create a mainspace page about your Toon. If you would like to share information about your Toon, please refer to your personalized profile page. Alternatives are to create a blog post or a post on the Forum.
    • Additionally, users must refrain from creating a mainspace page for any purpose of announcing a specific event run by players. There are other Toontown community websites aimed for this found across the wild wacky web.
      • Exceptions of this rule are official ARGs and events created by Toontown Rewritten.
      • Having trouble searching for a group of Toons to participate with in any kind of activity? Our recommendations are to use ToonHQ.org, or join the /r/ToontownRewritten's Discord server.
  • Illegal or inappropriate content of any kind is never permitted here on the Toontown Rewritten Wiki.
  • Because Toontown Rewritten is primarily based from the United States, users must use American English when editing. American English, along with British English, is also heavily encouraged for communication purposes.
