Toontorial

The Toon-torial is a sub-neighborhood (or a street) of Toontown located in (or nearby) Toontown Central where Toons begin their adventure when they're created; after one has been made in Create-A-Toon, they are sent to Tutorial Tom's building.

Tutorial Tom's Building

Inside his shop, players will be greeted by Tutorial Tom right after creating their Toon, who will then give them a lecture on what the Cogs are and that they can't take a joke - the gags. He proceeds by giving the players two Gags, the Cupcake and the Squirting Flower. He then notices that a level one Flunky is wandering outside his shop and instructs the players to go after it, assigning them their first ToonTask.

Outside

After the players are sent outside to chase after the Flunky, the only thing left to do is confront with him in a Cog Battle. Because the Cog is only level one and the lack of the ability to pass in battle, this Cog Battle can never be lost through regular gameplay. After the Flunky has been defeated, Tutorial Tom will teleport to the player and congratulate him or her on finishing his or her first ToonTask and telling them to go to the Toon Headquarters, one of which lies up ahead, to receive their reward.

After obtaining the Shticker Book, HQ Harry sends the player to the second part of the Toon-torial, which is a straight forward road leading to a tunnel which teleports Toons to the Toontown Central playground. In front of the tunnel, the player will meet up with Flippy, the current President of theToon Council, who will teach the player how to use SpeedChat and SpeedChat Plus. After this is done, he will greet the player and run back to the Toon Hall to his office. The player will then continue through the tunnel, finishing the Toon-torial and making it not accessible for their Toon from that point on.

Toon HQ

After defeating the Flunky, the player will be able to enter the Toon HQ, where they will receive the reward for completing the ToonTask from HQ Harry - a Shticker Book. HQ Harry then gives the player a lecture on how to use the Shticker Book and sends them on their way to Toontown Central via the door behind him.

Trivia

• It is unknown what neighborhood the Toon-torial is in or if it is a street or playground.
  • According to localizer code, the street is called Tutorial Terrace. However, this might not be official; it may just be in case you manage to go back into the Toon-torial and a friend views your location.
  • Some speculate it is in Toontown Central because the two places share the same art style and the level of Cogs wandering around.
    • Although, this can be wrong because when entering the area, only the text "Toon-torial" will show up on screen.
      • Because of this, it can be considered its own neighborhood.
• Interestingly, Toon HQ in the Toon-torial is the only Toon HQ in all of Toontown to have only one HQ officer with an actual name, that being HQ Harry.
• The Toon-torial was spelled as Toontorial in Toontown Online; however, it is officially spelled as Toon-torial in Toontown Rewritten, as shown in Tutorial Tom's blog post.
• All the NPCs in the Toon-torial are dogs.
