Changes: Toon Resistance ToonTasks

Toon Resistance ToonTasks are special limited-time ToonTasks that are offered by Lord Lowden Clear and members of the Toon Resistance during events that involve the takeover of a Cog headquarters. These ToonTasks offer exclusive rewards, such as double gag experience, SOS cards, clothing, accessories, and more. Once an event concludes, Toons would no longer be able to complete a ToonTask and claim a reward.

Task types

Operation: Storm Sellbot Headquarters

Each one of the Resistance Rangers in the operation offers a set of missions with a unique award, although the missions for getting the award may be identical. Below are known ToonTasks that had been offered during Operation: Storm Sellbot Headquarters.

Lord Lowden Clear offered storyline ToonTasks for the the Sellbot Cog-Crusher Outfit, the Sellbot Stopper Shirt, the Smashed Sellbot Shirt, and the Sellbot Rental Outfit.
Rocky offered ToonTasks for merits (for those who do not have a maxed Sellbot Cog Disguise) and SOS cards (for those who have a maxed Sellbot Cog Disguise), including five of his very own SOS cards.
Loopy Loopenloop offered ToonTasks for double gag experience anywhere between 30 minutes to a day, and a ToonTask for five of his very own SOS cards.
Goofenshmirtz offered ToonTasks for Whole Cream Pies or Birthday Cakes that Toons could use to throw for fun.

Operation: Crash Cashbot Headquarters

Each one of the Resistance Rangers in the operation offers a set of missions with a unique award, although the missions for getting the award may be identical. Below are known ToonTasks that had been offered during Operation: Crash Cashbot Headquarters.

Lord Lowden Clear offered storyline ToonTasks for the Cashbot Cog-Crusher Outfit, Cashbot Rental Outfit, Lipstick Jetpack, and certain numbers of his very own SOS cards, which when used, fire all Cogs present in battle.
Rocky offered ToonTasks for the Trolley Box, Resistance Cape, and certain amounts of Cogbucks.
Loopy Loopenloop offered ToonTasks for the Cashbot Crusher Shoes, and double gag experience that lasts anywhere between 30 minutes to a day.
Bulletin Belle offered ToonTasks for the Cashbot Stopper Shirt and Resistance Bag Hat, and either Toon-Up unites or promotion assist unites that allow Toons to reward a certain amount of Cogbucks to Toons in their vicinity, ranging from 100 Cogbucks to upwards of 900.
Cassie Peppercakes offered ToonTasks for the Resistance Eyepatch and Crashed Cashbot Shirt, as well as an assortment of ToonTasks for Cogbucks, unites, and double gag experience.

Expiry

At the duration of an event, the label above the ToonTask would read "Expires in %time%" (e.g. 3 days). Near the end of the operation, the label would read the number of hours left, then the number of minutes left, then "1 minute", and eventually "less than a minute".

When the operation ends and all ToonTasks have expired, the title of the task, instead of "WANTED", would read "EXPIRED", and the ToonTask's color would turn to brown, and the timer label would read "Expired %time% ago...". The ToonTask would have a picture of an HQ Officer, telling the Toon to visit one at a Toon Headquarters. When doing so, the HQ Officer would not give a reward, and say:

"Hello, %Toon name%!"

"Whoops! I see that your ToonTask has expired!"

"You may not have gotten a reward, but better luck next time."

"See you later!"

By the time the operation ends, Lord Lowden Clear and the Resistance Rangers leave the respective Cog headquarters, and ToonTasks will no longer be available.

Trivia

Toons would be able to carry only one task from Lord Lowden Clear but could carry multiple tasks from each of the Resistance Rangers.
Due to popular demand, Toon Resistance ToonTasks can be deleted from the "ToonTasks" page of the Shticker Book.
In the early days of Toontown Online, there used to be very challenging ToonTasks involving Sellbot Headquarters where Toons had to defeat the Vice President a certain number of times.
ToonTasks during Operation: Storm Sellbot Headquarters and Operation: Crash Cashbot Headquarters that involve defeating the headquarter's respective Cog bosses both use ToonTask icons from early versions of Toontown Online that were only used for a short period, if at all.
Toons can still use the original chat phrases under the "ToonTasks" section of SpeedChat, even after their tasks have expired.
