A ToonTask is a goal that a toon can complete for rewards and progress such as Gag Pouches, Laff points, or even Cog Suit parts. ToonTasks are one of the main goals of the game. Toontasks are in the Beta version of Toontown Rewritten. ToonTasks involve fighting cogs, delivering items to specific shopkeepers, and sometimes fishing, riding theTrolley, or even calling Clarabelle. In order to receive a ToonTask, a toon must talk to any Shopkeeper or HQ Officer and select one that they are currently offering. In order to receive the reward for one, one must turn in a completed ToonTask to the NPC shown on the completed ToonTask.
There are two different types of ToonTasks:
- Progress ToonTasks
- Just for Fun! ToonTasks
Progress ToonTasks need to be completed in order to level up and progress through the storyline, while Just for Fun! ToonTasks provide players with rewards such as kooky effects - timed transformations that let toons become entirely white, smaller, bigger, invisible, flat, and more.

- You can press the "End" key to quickly see your ToonTasks.
- In the Beta version of Toontown Rewritten, toons are able to obtain more beta keys by completing ToonTasks. However, these ToonTasks were confirmed to be very rare and you can only obtain one in Daisy Gardens.
