Event Grounds is a closed playground, located in Chip 'n Dale's Acorn Acres, only opened for special occasions. It is accessible through a wooden tunnel in the Acorn Acres.
When no event is held there, the entrance is barred with logs and a construction sign, and the tunnel itself reads "Event Area - Closed".
Features
The area has the following features:
- Trampolines and cannons
- A large lake, with Melville as the fisherman.
- The ToonFest Tower
- A wheelbarrow filled with Whole Cream Pies that the Toons can pick up and throw. Next to it are Flippy and his doodle, Fluffy.
- Early on in ToonFest 2016, the wheelbarrow was replaced by a Pie Purchases stand that sells throw gags, instead of just Whole Cream Pies.
- Bean Bags that Toons can collect, containing ToonFest Tokens or jellybeans.
- During ToonFest 2014, Alec Tinn flew a hot air balloon that Toons could ride.
Accessibility
The area has only been available in a handful of events:
- ToonFest 2014, on September 19, 2014.
- As a prank for April Toons' Week on April 1, 2015. The regular tunnel was not opened, but the area itself was accessible through the dark tunnel leading to ToonFest (named Barbecue Headquarters).
- ToonFest 2015, on September 19, 2015.
- ToonFest 2016, on September 30, 2016.
Trivia
- Just like any other playground, if the last place a Toon visited was the Event Grounds, logging in again would lead then back there. However, if they re-enter the game after the event had ended, they would be directed to Toontown Central.
- During ToonFest, a special button on the upper-right corner of the screen was used to teleport directly into the Event Grounds. This did not require first visiting Chip 'n Dale's Acorn Acres, nor added the area to the Toon's map in the Shticker Book.
