Name of origin

A "short change" is someone who steals small amounts of currency during monetary transactions. This is achieved by giving less change to a customer than what they are owed.

Trivia

  • Short Changes look almost exactly like Cold Callers. The only main difference is that the Cold Caller is a Sellbot and has a darker tint of blue, while the Short Change is a Cashbot and has a lighter tint.
  • Short Changes have the most powerful version of Pick Pocket, dealing 6 damage at only level five, which is much more than any other Cog using the attack.
  • Requirements for Short Change promotions are the same as Telemarketer promotions.
  • Short Changes are the strongest Cogs at the bottom of the corporate ladder, because their attack, Bounce Check, can do a maximum of 11 damage.
    • A Short Change hitting a Toon with Bounce Check at level 5 actually does more damage than a level 11 Corporate Raider hitting a Toon with Canned, as a level 11 Corporate Raider using Canned only deals 10 damage.
  • Short Changes can never be found in Donald's Dreamland unless they are invading with a Cog Invasion.
