Sad (battle)

You become sad when you lose all of your Laff points in a cog battle. When becoming sad, you are sent back to the playground you were previously in, and lose all of your gags. If you are sad, you cannot leave the playground until you have at least one Laff point. Sad toons cannot jump and they walk very slow. You can easily identify sad toons because their heads droop down.

Trivia

• Slappy was the first NPC Toon to become sad.
• Although Slappy was the first NPC Toon to be sad, Staff could use "~hp -1" in Alpha to go sad, which they have done before Slappy went sad. This technically means that Slappy wasn't the first Toon to go sad, but no one saw the Staff go sad in public.
