The Quality Assurance Team, often abbreviated as QA, consists of experienced and well-versed Toontown community members. Currently, there is no application to become a Quality Assurance tester. The QA team help the Toontown Rewritten Team test new content on a special server, but are not considered to be full staff. The team exists for a number of reasons, namely to:
- Ensure high quality releases
- Identify bugs and glitches
- Play-test and ensure new features are fun and engaging
- Balance the difficulty of new in-game features
Historically, QA testing was a process carried out solely by Toontown Rewritten Team members on an internal server. Today there is a dedicated QA team that volunteers to test upcoming game updates alongside the full team.
