  • We've made edits on Cogs articles, yet we aren't receiving the badges for them. What could the problem be?

  • I made one minor edit on the Cogs page, and than all of a sudden, look what happens to the table on the page! What could've caused this? Can you fix it? Because I don't want to mess it up.

      Loading editor
    • Not sure what you were trying to do but you seemed to have accidentally removed a portion of the code for the table. Reverted your edits to fix the table.

        Loading editor
    • Not sure how I could've done that, but it was purely unintentional.

  • I read you, SaturdayNight. Do you know hw we could put up the winning entries of contests for the blogs that have them?

    • tl;dr: If you're struggling with blog posts like that, you might wanna just skip them for now. I think I'll just have to do that one blog post myself. I don't know if I have a way to format all of those (especially the Facebook ones), but I'll probably be able to come up with something pretty decent. If you think I did it well enough, you can just copy the ideas and use them to implement the other blogs like that.

Some of the tweets from that particular blog post have been made private. Even if we could embed Tweets directly, I'm not sure I would want to do it that way.

I'm ok with fan art being on the wiki if it was in a official TTR blog post that we're trying to replicate. I think I'd usually be ok with being the one to upload them, but I really felt weird about it one time because I didn't really want it to look like I was taking credit for someone else's work. We might want to have a short internal talk about this (so I can know there's not more to this I haven't considered yet).

My biggest problem with the images are creating good filenames and descriptions for them. Takes a little more thought and effort is all. Just a little more work getting them on the Wiki.

    • Okay, I'll skip it for the time being.

  • I'm trying to get each of the playgrounds' icons to appear on their respective templates.

      Loading editor
    • I think the treasure icons are fine as they are now. The playground icons can just stay on the page outside of the template itself.

  • Dynaboom was impressed with the way I tackled the News Blogs.

  • Can you fix the gag template? I'd do it myself, but it's been locked to prevent editing.

    • Nothing in that template needs to be fixed. The name of the file for the gag icon is automatically set by whatever name is used in the "|name" syntax.

  • Hi Sat,
Since Professor Ivy's appearance was changed earlier this month, but the old version of her in-game image has been deleted, may i suggest reuploading the original version as a new file and including it in the gallery? I think it's worth including the previous appearance(s) of changed content.
P.S. lul haven't been in TTR for a while XD had to enter confirmation code from my E-mail but no code was sent to me, so i kinda put the game on the backburner (thankfully it didn't catch on fire) and returned to it today and it worked properly. Anywayz, have a Merry Christmas sir! May the Cogs keep falling in your traps and aim like Goofy in Duck Tank! And may your organic garden stay fresh!

  • Hi Saturday Night!

I was thinking we should do sandboxes for experimentation. You see, the thing is, the templates' documentations should match up with them. We want to be sure the templates will appear in the same manner in which they are documented.

  • Hi SaturdayNight!

I wasn't sure if you'd gotten my message about the missing information for the 2019 news blogs.

  • Hi SaturdayNight!

I reckon we ought to have a template for the ToonTasks. How does this look for a template?

    {{ToonTask
    |description=
    |image=
    |number=
    |item=
    |from=
    |lvl=
    |wanted=
    |type=
    |floors=
    |facility=
    |coghq=
    |npc=
    |bldg=
    |street=
    |neighborhood=
    }}

    • Remember that custom styling does not affect the mobile version of Wikia. So to make ToonTask info accessible to people who browse using their phone as well, i'd recommend first considering how you'd like the design of the template to look for people who use mobile devices, and building the "advanced" design on top of that- this way, if desktop view isn't used, the reader would see the template in its "basic" form.
Otherwise, in the worst case scenario, people who use mobile would see a single line of text saying:

VISIT Flippy Toon Hall Playground Toontown Central Reward: Loony Labs Shirt

      Which kinda looks weird.
