Hey, I noticed you uploaded a picture called "RB2.PNG" to the Toontown Rewritten Wiki, but it looks exactly like a picture on the TTO Wiki (Robber Baron (2).PNG). Same size, pose, and metadata format. It was uploaded on the TTO Wiki in 2013, but on the TTR Wiki, it was uploaded in 2015. The picture on the TTO Wiki must have come first, right? (That picture you put on the TTR Wiki is likely going to be deleted soon.)
Please don't post TTO pictures here if they're as replaceable as Cog or Shopkeeper pictures. Most TTO pictures are noncanon to TTR anyway.
Sorry for yelling, I was in a hurry to message you before you continue on doing this. And HolySnickerPuffs was wrong, the pages for toon buildings should not go in the category. That will just flood the category since there are way too many pages of toon buildings and besides, the category was suppose to be only for the neighborhoods and Cog HQs.
Hello, I'm Richme and I appreciate your contributions to the wiki, but can you PLEASE dial it down? You're sorta putting in the wrong categories into the wrong pages and we want to stick to the solid stuff. As of right now, the wiki is pretty solid so we don't need much of anything being put on blast mode. Just stick to solid facts as well. Do not put things like "Cogs are known for being greedy" since that is just an assumption as of now.
If you just want achievement points, comment on the wiki games .-.
Hmm, well everything is in beta right now, including alpha elements like racing since they are currently being worked on. I also don't see why we make them if they will just be put in every article except for events only to be taken down after beta ends. However, I think we should keep it but only use it in certain things like "Doomsday" going in Alpha and "Toon Hall Construction" going in Beta. Do you see where I'm going with this :P?
P.S. It was only an example if Flippy Toon Hall actually became an event, since there are none atm haha.
Sorry about that Alpha Category. At first, it sounded like a better idea than making an "Old Toontown" page. People would see the link at the Categories and then BOOM they see everything TTR Alpha.
But it's not worth all the categories everywhere and it could quickly become confusing.
Seems like "Apha Exclusive" event would also be a bad idea because TTR could do the same event in the open release.
Better off just making a page for Alpha, Beta, and when the time comes... the open release. Categories weren't automatic anyway. You still had to add them. You could just put a Link in a page just as easily.
Yet you're STILL adding pictures that aren't from TTR. Will you please refrain?
UPDATE: Now you're adding useless categories like "Special Cogs!" If you are just editing so you can get badges, I suggest you leave and never come back. Sorry if that's offensive, but this is BURNING me.
ONE LAST UPDATE: I know you're trying to help, but the edits you are making sound like an 8-year-old wrote them. Please use the right words at the right time.
Another thing, who are you telling other people what to do? No offense intended, but I get frustrated by people who think that they can just govern over others without and punishment. For example. perhaps you should ask about something BEFORE deleting the entire thing. I suppose you would also like to insult how I created The Bossbot HQ page and Sellbots and Sellbot HQ page because they are useless, but I beg to differ. Again, no offense intended.
There is no evidence saying that goons are cogs and that they are "special." Can you fight goons? No, but you can physically stomp them. Can you fight skelecogs? YES, which make them like any other cog, aside from the fact that they lack an outer shell (note you can't physically stomp them). Why make a category with only 2 articles that have nearly nothing in common?
Aren't we supposed to inform other people of almost / all of the details about the game? For example, you could include all bosses and the chairman to the page becuase they are unique from other cogs. All of these cogs can only be found in special places. Also, the page was suppsoed to include anything different from the 32 classic cogs because they are unique.
We are trying to inform people about everything IN game. Example: Someone comes to the wiki and sees the Bossbot HQ page. They say: "YES! BBHQ is in game now!" They go to TTR and look for it, but can't find it. They then begin to doubt our reliability.
That is why we don't want anyone making unreleased pages.
They look like they're from TTO, so I'd think not. Oh, I feel like I need to mention that in the comments section of that post, Manulik said that for your profile, it would probably be fine if you posted a picture of your Toon from TTO.
I think Manulik is the one who came up with the rule, so if you have any questions, he'd be the most likely to have the answers.
I have a feeling that lots of Pictures will be missing from this wiki until TTR is open to everyone and all of us can actually get every picture we need.
