Lure is a gag track that has a low accuracy and is available once a Toon finishes the ToonTasks when he chooses to learn Lure. These gags are the third gag track used in a Cog battle. When a Toon plants lure in their garden, and it grows completely, the accuracy of that lure gag is increased. This is called an "Organic Lure." Lured Cogs will also receive a 50% damage boost (called knockback) if Throw or Squirt is used on them. Drop gets an impossible accuracy when a cog is lured.
"Double Lure"
The "Double lure" discussion is convoluted with many unsubstantiated claims regarding mixed lures, double lures, and bonuses that do not exist.
Group lures should not be used with dollar bills of lower accuracy, this greatly reduces the accuracy of the group lure.

Trivia
- Luring Cogs will stop their action for a number of rounds.
- If the final accuracy of the lure gag is lower than 50% there is a chance cogs will wake up early.[1]
- Using a trap gag will increase the accuracy of lure.
- Lure is the only track to have different accuracies based on the level of gag used. IE a $1 bill is less accurate than a $10 bill.[2]
- Lure brings the Cogs closer and allows Trap gags to initiate.
- There was a long time knockback bug where damage bonuses do not apply properly. This was now fixed by Toontown Rewritten in the "Toontown Tweaks" update.
- Lure gains accuracy as you train it and earn more experience points.
- While other organic gags tracks gain a 10% bonus in damage or 10% healing bonus (Toon-Up), organic Lure gains an accuracy bonus, changing from low accuracy to medium accuracy.
- From Toontown Online trading cards, the Lure gags that uses a fishing rod attached to a dollar are referred to as "Cog Catcher".
- Two different bills on the same target or two different group lures used together will take the accuracy of the lower lure. However if one toon has more lure experience than the other, accuracy will be improved. Often times this will essentially average the two gags accuracies.
- Multicog lure and single cog lure are calculated separately, and one can hit while the other does not.
- It is a common supersition among toon that saying "glue" before using lure makes it more accurate.
- This has been proven wrong by TTR Moderator Goshi. When asked if this truly worked in an interview, he said: "Haha, no. But we thought about making it an easter egg."
