ToonFest 2014

Chip 'n Dale's Acorn Acres, commonly abbreviated as CDAA or AA, is a neighborhood located to the southeast of Toontown. It can be accessed via the Donald's Dock playground, and leads to Chip 'n Dale's MiniGolf, where golf can be played by up to four Toons. Teleportation to the neighborhood is automatically granted to the toon if it is once visited. There is a closed off tunnel in Acorn Acres, which, from September 19th to the 27th, led to ToonFest 2014; and a year later, ToonFest 2015. The area also houses a geyser that Toons can step on to be launched into the air and several picnic tables which they can sit on to spawn food. Neither of these affect the Toon or reward them in any way, however.

Theme

Acorn Acres is a picnicing area with a river, geyser, and a gazebo in the center. Several purple and pink flowers are planted, along with small pine trees and round trees. There are many dirt paths, leading to bridges over the water, and to the tunnels.

October 3, 2014 Update

On the October 3, 2014 update, Toontown Rewritten introduces a new fishing pond in Chip 'n Dale's Acorn Acres with Fisherman Nutty being the fisherman at the pond. By popular demand, the ToonFest picnic games were also brought back. Unlike other neighborhoods (excluding Goofy Speedway), this neighborhood has no Gag shops and Toon HQ.

Trivia

  • Chip 'n Dale's Acorn Acres is one of the two playgrounds with interactive decorations. The decorations include the geyser, which can be ridden on, and the picnic tables, which can be sat on. The other playground is Donald's Dock, with the rideable boat.
  • Acorn Acres is similar to Toontown Central, both having a gazebo and at least one bridge.
  • In Toontown Online, there was a tunnel to the side of the playground with an "Under Construction" sign in front of it. This tunnel sparked numerous theories as to what was behind it. A developer once said in 2010 that the tunnel would lead to a mini-game area, but since the game closed before the tunnel opened, that information is no longer relevant.
  • On September 19, 2014, ToonFest 2014 began which was an event to mark the start of Open Beta. A tunnel was also added which led to the ToonFest area.
  • The October 3, 2014 update gave Toons who entered Chip 'n Dale's Acorn Acres teleportation access.
  • Chip 'n Dale's Acorn Acres is abbreviated as "OZ" in the code for Toontown Rewritten. The reason behind this is unknown.
  • Chip 'n Dale's Acorn Acres is arguably the least popular area or playground in Toontown Rewritten.
