Chip 'n Dale's Acorn Acres, commonly known as Acorn Acres or AA, is a neighborhood located in the southeast side of Toontown. It connects to Donald's Dock, Chip 'n Dale's MiniGolf, and the Cartoonival Grounds. Teleport access to the playground is automatically granted to Toons after their first visit.

Unlike all other playgrounds (excluding Goofy Speedway), Chip 'n Dale's Acorn Acres does not have a Toon Headquarters, a Gag Shop, a Clothing Shop, a Pet Shop, a party gate, or any of its own streets.

The 1.5.9 update that was released on October 3, 2014, introduced the playground's own fishing pond, along with Fisherman Nutty. By popular demand, previously removed picnic games from Toontown Online also made a return to the picnic tables.

Theme

Chip 'n Dale's Acorn Acres is a picnic-themed area with a river, a geyser, a gazebo in the center, and several picnic tables. Several purple and pink flowers are planted, along with small pine trees and round trees. There are many dirt paths that lead to bridges over the water and to the tunnels. The treasure in the playground is an acorn.

Trivia

  • In Toontown Online, Chip and Dale used to roam the playground. They no longer appear because the Toontown Rewritten Team wanted to prevent from calling attention to the Disney characters by simply not including them in their playgrounds.[1]
  • Chip 'n Dale's Acorn Acres is one of two playgrounds, alongside Goofy Speedway, where Toons can teleport instantly without completing any ToonTasks. It makes a good shortcut for beginners to Donald's Dock.
  • The tunnel leading to the Cartoonival Grounds opened for the first time in celebration of ToonFest 2014 on September 19, 2014, when the area was previously named "ToonFest Grounds". The tunnel was never accessible in Toontown Online, which led to rumors about what area the tunnel could have possibly led to.
