The Banana Peel is the level one Trap gag. It precedes the Rake.

The Toon pulls out a banana peel and throws it in front of the desired Cog.
When the Cog is successfully lured, they will slip on the banana peel and take damage before getting back up.

The Banana Peel is capable of destroying a level two Cog, being the only level one gag to do so.
Banana Peels are a iconic gag in classic cartoon comedy. Usually, a Banana Peel is placed on the floor and the victim steps onto it and slips down in an exaggerated way.
The Banana Peel is the most powerful level one gag. Its maximum damage is one times that of a Squirting Flower's maximum damage.
